Ross-on-Wye Cricket Club
Founded in 1837, Ross-on-Wye Cricket Club enjoys a picturesque
setting, known as “The Park” close to the meandering River Wye
and nestling under the spire of St Mary’s parish church.
The club’s First & Second XI play in the Crusader Worcester
League and our Third XI play in the local Marches League. In
addition the club runs a Sunday Friendly XI. The club is hoping
to run a mid-week Twenty20 XI again this season.
Ross Cricket Club has a flourishing, highly successful Junior
Section and runs extremely popular training sessions for all
ages and abilities. We are ClubMark accredited and all our
coaches are ECB trained, CRB checked and hold a First Aid
qualification. We are a Focus Club for Herefordshire Cricket.

Ross Juniors FC
Ross Juniors FC were formed in 2004 with
the intention of providing the youngsters of Ross football
and a team to play for. Going into the 2012 season the club
now has teams from Under 7’s to a men’s side and over 300
playing members ranging from 4-55. The club have a strong
committee who supports the tireless work of the Managers and
Coaches. The club has just completed its health check
successfully for its FA Chartered Standards award. The club
in 2008 was the West Midlands Chartered Standard Club of the
Year and in 2009 Herefordshire’s Club of the Year.
The club also excels off the field,
recent years has seen the club start its own website, run
regular all club social events and end of season tours.
Every year the club takes youngsters on trips to see
Premiership games and has established strong links with
local professional clubs. Recently Ross juniors have played
friendlies against teams from Aston Villa, Bristol City and
Swindon Town. |

Ross United FC
Ross United Football Club
is a FA Charter Standard Club, which provides a Family, Fun and
Friendly atmosphere for all junior age groups.
Ross United Football Club is operated by an enthusiastic group
of volunteers and provides a range of football related
activities including a full junior football league programme,
together with various out of season county wide tournaments,
training and social activities
We are able to offer fully recognised FA Qualified Coaches, and
our team includes several child protection officers and a child
welfare officer. All training personnel and officers of the club
are CRB checked
